Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (also known as IIM T or IIM Trichy) is a public graduate business school located at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 2011, it is one of the seven new Indian Institutes of Management the Indian government has set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. and it is mentored by IIM Bangalore. Classes for the first batch began on June 15, 2011. The former SEBI chairman M. Damodaran heads the board of governors while former IIM Calcutta professor Prafulla Agnihotri has been appointed director of IIM-Trichy.
