University School of Management Studies is now located at the new West Campus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University at Dwarka after shifting from its previous centre of Kashmiri Gate. The institute came into existence when the university was established in 1999 by the government of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. The major facilities at campus are wi-fi enabled separate hostel facility for boys and girls, air-conditioned Seminar hall and class rooms, university information resource center (UIRC) which provides an extensive collection of latest books, journals, CD-ROM databases etc. The institute has a focus on promoting inter-disciplinary research. The major recruiters of the institutes are TCS, Grail Research, Naukri.Com, Compare Infobase Pvt. Ltd. etc. The students of USMS organize various cultural, social and sports activities.
